Total-Transfer vs Non-Transfer vs Destructible Labels

Where do I use tamper evident labels?

Tamper evident labels are very versatile seals to use. You can use it to detect any unauthorised entry of doors, carton boxes, tote boxes, bags and countless possible scenerios.

How do I know which one to use?

For simplicity's sake, there are 3 types of labels, Total-Transfer, Non-Transfer, and Destructible type labels.

Total-Transfer labels is where an adhesive layer with a void message is left behind on the surface to show evidence of tampering. The adhesive layer may be cleaned off on some surfaces to allow reuse of the sealed object. The security label also exhibits the void message to prevent the reuse of the label. By leaving a void message on the surface, recipients will know that the object has been accessed and tampered with.

Non-transfer labels is where no void message or low traces of adhesive is left behind on the surface. Instead only the security label will exhibit the void message, preventing reuse of the label. With no void message left on the surface, the recipient must be aware there should be a security label, as a missing label or a different serial number is evidence of tampering.

Destructible labels, sometimes commonly known as eggshell labels are designed to resist removal. These eggshell labels have a tendency to rip and tear rather than being removed whole.

With all the labels, the recipient must be aware there should be a security label, as a missing label or a different serial number is evidence of tampering.

What are some important or unique features to look out for?

With most of our labels, we have unique serial numbers printed on them. This way even if a label is replaced, the serial numbers will never match up. Hence it is always important to keep a record of the serial numbers after you apply the label.

Am I able to customise them?

Of course, contact us if you are looking to customise the labels. This includes having your logo or name printed on them. Please note that there may be a minimum order quantity.
